Coming from a background of musicians, and my partner also being a drummer and always my main support, I’m so blessed to be able to incorporate both into one. There’s nothing more fulfilling than being able to do both things you love, and to showcase individuals who make art that matters.”

Molly (Sonja) Alvarez is Southern California based photographer with a passion for music, documentary, and lifestyle photography.
Always fascinated with photography and art, at the age of 16 she decided to study film photography at East Los Angeles College. Since then, she’s devoted her life to the craft of capturing moments in time.
In 2021, she started dating Matt Peterson (Drummer, Producer, and Writer) in the The Dares & The Hashi. He’s been her inspiration and muse ever since. Tagging along by his side at his shows she realized her passion for photographing concerts, and letting the energy of a live performance inhabit her shots.
